I currently run 3 main courses:

Edit Producing for Factual/ Unscripted TV - beginner and advanced levels

Avid for Edit Producers - in collaboration with Avid Editor Nigel Honey.

PD Boot Camp - along with Series Director, Sarah Kerley-Burton - a foundation course in producing, directing and shooting for Factual TV.

I am happy to create bespoke courses for any of your Unscripted and Factual TV needs, for individuals or groups of any size eg scriptwriting, story-producing, casting, leadership, compliance and ed pol.

I can bring in other trainers to run or co-run modules that are beyond my remit, as required. Currently all sessions are run online, via Zoom, but they can be held face-to-face if preferred.

I enjoy host masterclasses in all areas of TV production, bringing in experts from all areas of production. These are free and open to anyone to join live. Many are also recorded and viewable on my Facebook page at a later date.

I am now taking booking for a weekend short online Edit Producing course 9th/10th Nov. This is open to anyone wanting to find out more about Edit Producing.

Edit Producing for Future SPs

Screenskills' funded longer course: Edit Producing for Future SPs

Screenskills selected Jo Woolf Media Training and Mentoring to run a brand new 9 month Edit Producing training scheme, aimed at "Future SPs", who need to learn about the edit but so far have not been able to gain meaningful experience in there. The scheme wrapped up in July 2024 and saw 20 applicants from across the UK gain a thorough knowledge of EPing, Avid, and gain a work placement on a real-life series.
